I consider bodywork an extension of equine massage, as it uses many techniques to help relax the horse and rid its body of tension, or at the least, take away layers of tension. I incorporate equine massage techniques but work primarily using the
Masterson Method which focuses on working with the horse through pressure and movement to enable the nervous system to release built-up tension. Some horses require multiple bodywork sessions to address all the concerns, like if the horse has used itself in such a way that lends to more overall tension patterns.

I have worked on upper level dressage horses, eventers, jumpers, geriatric horses, performance horses, and horses that are pets.

Spring Brook Equine Bodywork is a culmination of my experience running my own businesses, working in the veterinary pharmaceutical industry, working as a veterinary assistant, and riding personally— all of which have fueled my knowledge and passion for giving back to the animals who give so much to us.
